Who do you want to meet today?

Not that MCC is about me, but if EVERY ONE of YOU answered that question in the next 24 hours I would be absolutely thrilled!

I know, 790 people all yelling out their wants at once.  That's a lot of noise.  You're right.  And you know what else, you couldn't possibly help every one of them.  But what if every one used a specific title like I am looking for Banks, Banks, Banks, Banks (that seems familiar).  Clearly if you were neither a banker nor in the position to introduce one, you would skip that message.  You can only help when you can help.

Funny thing about helping though.  Did you know that by telling us how to help you, you actually help us?  Now that's slick.  So, kindly help the good members of MCC understand who you want to meet today.

It's so OK to ask for help.  Please do so by answering the following:

If you focused on but one industry, who would be your ideal client?

Who is your ideal referral partner.

Giving us that specific and useful information should benefit you greatly.  And while that's most excellent, the person who helps benefits too.

If you are uncomfortable sharing your ask, or don't know what it is you seek, contact me at tbean@networkedinc.com.

Your asking and your requests getting granted produces positive energy.  We need a lot more of that here in the D.  We can be a part of that change we wish to see.  Will you?

Just Ask-

Terry Bean

BTW, if you're able to be in Ann Arbor, my good friend Charlie Wollborg and I will be having a meet up (tweet up for you cool kids) at Sweetwaters at 3:00 and speaking at Conor O'Neils at around 5:30 (http://www.a2ac.org/v1/).  There is a cost of $30 for the latter payable to the adclub.

Lin Klassen, reach out to Kathleen O'Connel.  She told us on Tuesday at Royal Oak that she is looking to talk to similar people.  You two could partner up and really make an impact.  Good luck.

I'm looking for mold shops, die cast shops, molders, diecasters, Tier 2, Tier 1 and/or OEM's in all industries; automotive, consumer products, medical, packaging; that are looking for cost savings in their tooling needs.  The Global Tooling opportunities have been around for years in our industry, with multi-national companies taking advantage of the extensive cost savings.  Only in the last decade has it escalated.   Still the fear that the product you received will be of lesser quality than that produced locally or domestically is unwarranted.  We offer company owned facilities with mold/die building capabilities and two-dozen other vested partners with the same ability along with design, production, assembly and more.  With over 10 years experience, we've personally visited almost 500 vendors and secured those that meet our ISO and capability requirements.

I've also recently added a few other items to my growing portfolio; ejector pins, date codes, hot runner cleaning and T-Mold Technology(ask me).

Thanks for the topic Terry!

My ideal referral partner is someone who practices the way I practice.  I am long-term relationship-oriented with my mortgage/real estate clients.  I have folks I have worked with for the full 12 years I have been in the business.

I like to educate and inform my clients, coach them through the process and then consistently stay in touch and stay 'available' for them so that when they are 'ready' to buy a home we already have a strong foundation of trust built.

I want a partner who doesn't push extra product on their clients - or our mutual clients and someone who has the same quality of relationships in mind as myself.  I do NOT want someone who's only in it for a one-time quick money-making transaction.

you have to do the 'right' thing even if that means you only make $100 on a deal - this time.  Guarantee that if you did the right thing that $100 will exponentially increase as your years progress in your career as THOSE clients NEVER forget you and LOOK for other clients to send your way.

My perfect client is a company who is seeking a partner in the printed materials or product distribution arena - typically business to business support.

I would like to meet the person that purchases office equipment for any large accounting firm. Most firms are looking for ways to go paperless and we can help.

My ideal client is a small business owner that is looking to cut costs, shelter as much as possible from taxes, and reduce employee turnover.

Having a hard time hiring qualified professionals?  Tired of posting ineffective ads in the Free Press, on Monster, Career Builder, Hot Jobs, et al?  Too many unqualified candidates to sort through?

My ideal client would be a senior manager at an engineering, service, or manufacturing company that has human capital needs.

My partner and I have 23 combined years of experience headhunting in the automotive supply base with well over 30,000 contacts.  We have filled all levels of positions from first line manufacturing supervisors up to President.  While we have no intention on ignoring our core clients, we understand the Motor City is facing difficult times right now.  We are well connected to top talent in the areas of:

-engineering

-program management

-product development

-quality systems and quality control

-operations

-purchasing

-lean manufacturing, six sigma, TPS

I could keep going, but you get the point.  My goal is to help get some of these hard working, well qualified candidates on stable ground, while at the same time building new clients (even non-automotive).  The skills and credentials that many of these professionals have gained over the years can easily transfer to many other environments: medical, alternative energy, capital equipment, manufacturing, consulting, banking, etc.

If you need candidates with advanced degrees in business, operations, or engineering.  Certifications in Six Sigma, quality, reliability, program management, human resources, etc....we can help you.

My firm has a track record of presenting an average of 4 candidates for one hire.  There is no need to waste your valuable time sifting through hundreds of unqualified responses to your online posting.

Urgent Care Clinics, Third Party Administrators and Medical Insurance Companies

These are the people that I would really like to meet today, they continually generate large volumes of paper daily.  Rapidly converting this paper into an electronic format saves money, improves efficiency and drives cost out of the operation.

If they are already scanning their documents, I can show them how to do it faster, better and less expensive.

With our service there is no upfront costs and no contracts our clients only pay for what we scan.  If they don't absolutely love us, then I don't want them to use us.

I am looking for:

 > Insurance Agencies (Allstate in particular)
 > Realtors
 > Mr. Handyman Franchise

I have recently signed up a few of the above industries for a Send Out Cards business account and they are all extremely excited about being able to stay in touch with their clientele much faster, easier and more affordably, by sending cards & gifts.   I would like the opportunity to present a free demonstration of Send Out Cards to the above business owners/independent contractors.

Happy Card Sending!

I'm looking for officers/directors of technology companies that retain care, custody or control of client's personal information that would like protection should the data inadvertantly be made public.

One of my carriers has a new Data Compromise Coverage endorsement for their Business Owners Policy that covers legal and forensic IT review, notification to affected Individuals and services to affected individuals.

Anyone Interested in Improving Their Online Presence

Since we are an Interactive Agency, I'm always asking folks:  Are your current online efforts meeting the business goals you have set?  How would you like to see things improve?  Whether you need a website that is more than an online brochure or you are interested in search engine optimization or want to increase your conversion ratio, we want to help.  If you have usability issues and aren't able to pinpoint where users are bailing, we want to help.  If you want to have a more comprehensive cross channel marketing strategy and want measurable results, we want to help.  In a nutshell, we want your website to work for you.  Therefore, I am always looking for people who want to take a few minutes, sit down and allow me to find out how they do business, determine the objectives and come up with specific solutions.  Did I mention we want to help?  Thanks for the topic Terry.

I need to meet someone who can sell me lead or something heavy that I can affix underneath something for work as a counterweight.  Sorta tight space, maybe 8x8 or 10x10 inch plate.  That way I don't need to ruin a tabletop with screws.

Am open to solutions out of someone's garage, it's going to be hidden under something so I don't care what said weight looks like.

My ask:  Small business owners and entrepreneurs who have plans and visions for where they want themselves and their company to be, but need that "little something extra" to get there.  I can be your spark to have you actually accomplish your dreams, not just dream them.

I would like to meet the CIO of Sprint.  I would like to speak to this person about helping him (or her) get his bonus for 2008 by increasing the time to market for innovative, new wireless applications by up to 60% and lowering the cost of software delivery by up to 40%.  For more information, go to www.CoscendCommunications.com.
