Another elegant Indian Village Home & Garden Tour is near completion.  Visitors this year will view seven homes and three private garden-only venues.  Of the seven homes open for viewing, four will be showing their gardens as well for a total of seven private gardens.  Also open are the historic churches, schools and the community Centennial Garden.  Being showcased this year, are the Dodge and Buhl mansion, each providing over 10,000 sq. ft of living space.  All three floors of the Dodge mansion will be open for our guests.  These magnificent homes are marvelous examples of a lifestyle most of us cannot even dream of.    Color photos of the homes on this year's tour are available on our web site, www.HistoricIndianVillage.org.  Advance-sale tickets can also be purchased on the site through PayPal or at Pewabic Pottery on Jefferson Avenue.

The Home & Garden is JUNE 7, 2008, and runs from 10a.m.-5 p.m.  On tour day, tickets will sell for $20 each when purchased at Jefferson Ave. Presbyterian or Iroquois Ave. Christ Lutheran churches; tickets will also be available at The Detroit Waldorf School on Burns.  The advance purchase price is $15; the advance Group Rate is $11/ticket for orders over 10.  If posting an advance purchase order, checks for the proper amount, made out to the IV H&G Tour, may be mailed to H&G Tour, POB 14616, Detroit, MI 48214.
