Marketing alternatives to traditional stock investments.

I'm an investment consultant, and am about to move all of my clients' traditional domestic & international stock holdings to a series of alternative investments.  I just uploaded a chart on the "files" part of the site.

Based on the chart, in short, I'm looking to get out of anything that resembles "S&P 500" and "International Equity", and move left on the risk scale (less volatility) towards "Managed Futures" & "Hedge Funds".  These indexes produce similar returns to equities without all the pain of major ups and downs.

I recognize this is a fairly significant move to tell people to get out of stocks, and out of their comfort zone.  I'm wondering if anyone knows of an easy way to market that kind of program in a super-simple & concise manner that would generate a phone call with an inquiry.

I'm of the opinion that I can't get concise enough.  I'm thinking the reader only has a couple of seconds to read the marketing piece before throwing it away.  I'd at least like to find a way to get the reader to take a second glance at the information.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated, and thank you for your help!!!!

Lance, what do you mean that you can't get concise enough?

You're right, you only have a few seconds to stop them dead in their tracks.
I suggest your get a set of 3 x 5 cards and write out the benefits of what you are
offering on 50-100 cards. One per card. Then take the strongest benefits and write some
heart stopping headlines and bullet points. If you need any help, Just ask.

Better yet, how can you use your credentials and past successes.

Lance, when you wrote and articles, reports and guides about your strategies
and posted them here and on the web... what type of response did you get?

The reality is you'll want to write a book to become the go-to expert.
It's a lot easier then you think to do it.

Sorry, Troy, the question is about marketing.  I have no desire to have a verbal spar about investing strategies with someone who is trained to "overcome objections".

Sandy, thanks for the feedback.  I've looked at some of your ideas, but financial services is highly regulated, especially in terms of advertising, and can't get some of these past my compliance department.  (no testimonials, and my concise thoughts are lost in a massive clutter of disclosures)
